Short Break
We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the bar service was super and the breakfast just as we like it. Very comfortable room and amenities.
The villa is in a great location with only a 5 minute walk to the town for a selection of good restaurants.
We will definitely coma again.
A great find
We decided to have a couple of nights in Bath on our way back from a short break in Cornwall. We were fortunate to find The Roseate Villa. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our very pleasant room. Although slightly cosy, it had everything we needed.
The hotel is very well located being only five to ten minutes walk from the centre of Bath. It was lovely to leave the car parked in the hotel car park for two days and be able to walk everywhere. I was surprised to have to pay for that parking, especially given the price of the rooms, but I m guessing that is probably pretty common in a central city hotel.
The menu choice and food at breakfast were very good, Everything cooked to order, well presented, tasty and hot,
Finally, a comment on the customer service which was excellent. Every member of staff was friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome.
Great short break in perfect position for seeing main sights of Bath
The staff were consistently pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were small but nicely decorated and equipped. The breakfasts were amazing - great selection, and all delicious. Despite having booked our arrival day evening meal through offpeakluxury.com, it transpired that they do not do any evening meals at this hotel .and opl had been informed of this several times. They do, however, do a splendid afternoon tea with delicious home made cakes etc. One downside which was not apparent in the booking process whilst opl state there is parking at the hotel (a big bonus in Bath), they do not inform that the cost is 20 per night!
Taking all into consideration it was a perfect place for a 3 night break to discover Bath.
Excellent 2 night City break
The Roseate Villa is perfectly situated just a short stroll from Bath city centre but in a very peaceful spot.
Our room was great and the breakfast excellent.
Every member of staff we met were friendly and helpful,
.
Hoping to return in the Autumn .
Comfortable and welcoming hotel
A small welcoming hotel with very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble.. The room was cosy and warm, the bed comfortable and the water hot. It's close proximity to the city meant we didn't need the car during our stay

Hotel was well situated for the town, could do with serving evening/bar meals, a lot of money for the stay, even had to pay for parking
A little gem.
It was spotlessly clean. Staff so friendly. Central to everything. Fantastic breakfasts. A bit of a shock when at the end of the stay I was given a bill for parking the car. This was not mentioned when I phoned the booking line.
Great hotel in great location
We stayed at the Roseate Villa hotel for our wedding anniversary and were really pleased with our choice of hotel. It's in a really good location just a couple of minutes' walk from Pulteney Bridge and it was very easy walking distance to the two restaurants we'd booked for our evening meals. The breakfasts in the hotel were superb, with freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade smoothies as well as the fruit salad from the continental breakfast and cooked options too. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious, as was the full English, along with its excellent black pudding (according to husband, who judges a hotel breakfast on such things). Eggs royale and eggs benedict were very good too.
The room was quiet and comfortable and the homemade shortbread biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities were delicious. Penhaligon's toiletries in the bathroom too.
We were both impressed at the level of service and attention to detail by the staff. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful and we were astonished to find one of the cleaning staff on her hands and knees in the hall, vacuuming every inch of the carpet in minute detail.
The only minor criticism was that the 20 per day parking charge to use the hotel car park wasn't obvious on the booking information, but over all we felt that the hotel was very good value.
