Great place to stay

We had three days at The Ormond in November 2021 as a base for exploring the Cotswolds. The hotel is centrally located in Tetbury, a charming town. The hotel has no parking but that is not a problem with cheap or free carparks nearby. Our room was big and quiet even though facing the street. Looks like it has been recently done up. Good TV, comfortable bed, great bathroom although it had only a shower and no bath. We ate in the restaurant on the first night as part of the package. The food was excellent but we had a long wait between courses with service a bit haphazard. There are some excellent restaurants nearby! We would stay there again.

Courtyard room was a little noisy due to the beer garden,and i didn't think it was a Superior Room and it had mould growing on one wall.
The food was good and the staff attentive.

Nice break

The hotel room was clean but a little small - on the booking we thought we had reserved a signature room but not sure it was one - we didn t raise at the hotel as they were busy and staff friendly. We had a lovely break. The restaurant was simple and basic with a varied selection.

Weekend away

We had a lovely stay, staff very friendly and helpful,
We had a room at the very top which we found a bit difficult to climb all the stairs with luggage, we also had a problem with getting hot water from the shower, we would stay again but pay extra for one of their better rooms, food in the restaurant excellent

Lovely hotel for a weekend break

Great hotel in the centre of a charming town of Tetbury, very helpful staff, nice room, and good food

Warm welcome

We arrived at the hotel and greeted by a young mam called Will. He was happy and helpful, our room were very clean.
We ate in the evening with our friends that were saying in another room. The food and service was very good as was the breakfast in the morning. Even the man from Dudley ( whom we forgot to ask his name) was nice and super friendly. Definitely recommend anyone staying their.
