Beautiful location, room was good size, had everything we needed but we felt that it had been neglected (decoration wise) and could do with a refurbishment as could the hotel in general. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly, attentive and polite.

Pleasant overnight stay

David, Herefordshire, stayed: August 2024

It was an exceptionally hot day and we were very pleased to have a room at the back of the Hotel. There was a fan provided, which was good as the windows barely opened, presumably for safety reasons. We ate dinner outside, the menu was quite limited but the food was well presented and good value for money as it was included in the package. Breakfast was a self service buffet, plenty of choice but the hot food all needed to be hot, it was not even warm!.

Great location and quiet

Anon, stayed: August 2024

We stayed here with a voucher we were given, it was nice and quiet (we went in August). The rooms were spacious but could do with a little updating. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Dinner service was fast and being the only ones in the bar they put on the olympics for us whilst we had an afternoon drink. Prices reasonable at the bar. About 4 miles away from the centre so we just got an Uber which was aswell reasonable.

Breakfast was self serve, unfortunately not much vegetarian options n the hot breakfast but other things to eat like croissants and toast.

Overall a nice relaxing place and would recommend

Cheap Digs in the Cotswolds

Hal M, West Yorkshire, stayed: August 2024

We paid for an upgraded executive room which was spacious enough and clean but with no air conditioning it was far too warm at night in mid-summer. Location was great for a little break in the Cotswolds and with close proximity to Stratford and Warwick there was plenty on the doorstep. As a hotel it was basic but adequate. Our only real negative was the breakfast. Too few staff, limited breakfast choice and limited availability. Items ran out quickly and weren t replenished.
Overall though you get what you pay for and this was relatively cheap so not bad for the money.
