Excellent Hotel

We enjoyed our week-end at the Bear Hotel. Our room was immaculate, the food in the restaurant was to a very high standard. We will certainly consider staying there again

One night stay

An excellent hotel location if you like to go wandering around the picturesque Cotswolds. Early check in really beneficial. Lovely meal in the restaurant with excellent service and attention to detail. Great to just wander around the hotel and relax.

We will definitely try and visit again.

During these difficult times the staff could not have been nicer. So helpful.
Generally the food was delicious, but two disappointing choices.
Our room was on the first floor. Absolutely fine for us but if you have mobility problems you would need a ground floor room ( no lifts).

Another enjoyable break in The Bear

This was the third time that we have chosen The Bear for a short break, it was extremely pleasant, and we'll be back.

Perfect location

We found the hotel very welcoming and staff very helpful, the restaurant very good and food very nice, we found the receptionist very good it was a celebration of my birthday and she took this into her consideration and made our stay very welcoming, and also the waitress the night of
the 25th was very very pleasant nothing was to much for her, all in all we very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to go back another time

Fantastic stay and we will be back!

Loved our stay and wish we d booked longer. Only grumble really was the outdated room with dire need of refurbishment but can be overlooked when it s such a fantastic hotel.

Last minute anniversay celebration

We booked the special offer at the last minute of dinner and an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was well presented and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, courteous, cheerful but professional. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. All in all a very relaxing stay and good value for money.
