Brilliant stay
We had a lovely few days at the Bear at Rodborough. A warm welcome, really helpful staff, smashing room and lovely food in the restaurant. We will certainly return
Enjoyable
We spent two nights at The Bear of Rodborough hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our room, though not large provided all the comfort and luxury we required. We ate in the hotel both evenings. The food though not fancy was delicious ant the pea soup was the best I have ever tasted.
The hotel is in a lovely area with lots of picturesque walks and the Roman museum in Cirencester is a must!

Couple short break
Found a deal online and we were not dissapointed. It's a pleasant hotel with friendly staff and our room was quite adequate. Food is good but don't expect fine dining. Bar area is OK. Probably our only complaint would be the really awful WiFi reception in our room, not what one expects in 2022.
A very pleasant stay
Whilst only staying one night we had a very pleasant stay. All staff we met were very professional and welcoming. Our room was of a good standard and the hotel had a good overall ambiance. I feel the restaurant prices were rather excessive and the food of mixed quality. But overall a good experience.
Lovely country hotel
The main thing we enjoyed about this hotel was the food!! We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and it was exceptional with attentive staff.
The room was a good size and well equipped although the bed was a little uncomfortable.
All in all we would stay again.
A beautiful hotel in a stunning location
My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights to celebrate an anniversary. What a great choice we made, the staff and food are what makes this hotel stand out from others. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a smile.
We will definitely return, next time hopefully for longer and during warmer weather.
