Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at the Bear, nice touches like the comp tea and coffee in the room. Little hiccup with the table reservation but sorted quickly. Staff very friendly and the dinner and the breakfast were all lovely.

Good location for exploring the Cotswolds

The hotel is situated on the Common with views of the Cotswolds from all aspects. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The Bear is a long established hotel with the ambiance to go with it. We had a large bedroom with a double aspect view. Good quality breakfast and as much as you could eat.

Dog vacation

We had a wonderful stay, it may have been only one night, but the staff were all so friendly and made our dog Alfie so welcome, even to a sausage for his breakfast.

Celebrating my sisters 60th birthday we were a group of 10 & the hotel made sure a table for 10 was set up for breakfast & dinner. The staff were really helpful & we really enjoyed the outside area. We would definitely revisit.

We only stayed for one night. But everything was very good. The staff were very friendly. Our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious, the choice for breakfast was very good, with a well cooked & presented Full English Breakfast.

Lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel with helpful pleasant staff. Great location with good walks. Restaurant had a nice ambiance and food was good- especially the breakfast. Enjoyed the quirky bars and beautiful beer garden.
