Worth a visit - more than once

Phil H, Gloucestershire, stayed: October 2023

Food. That's my number one memory. Yes, the Arden Hotel is well situated to visit all that Stratford on Avon has to offer. But you do build up a healthy appetite after walking around town and visiting all the Shakespeare related homes, museums and theatres. And that is where the excellent restaurant comes in. Looking at the full price a la carte, via the web site, you may think "looks expensive". But there are a whole range of offers and deals available. Free Afternoon tea (full on sandwiches and cakes as well as scones and clotted cream...) on arrival. Welcome drink. 30 off your food for evening meal. Free wine on day 2. So, takes a good 15 to 20% off your bill. And the food is exquisite.

Overnight Stay at The Arden Hotel, Stratford Upon Avon

TD, North Yorkshire, stayed: October 2023

My wife and myself booked an overnight stay at The Arden Hotel using a voucher. It entitled us to an upgrade to a superior room and evening dinner.
The room had a king size bed, plenty of storage space and comfortable furniture. The bathroom was very spacious and had a roll top bath and a large walk in shower.
The restaurant menu was extensive and the food and the service was excellent.
The staff were friendly and the service was good overall.

Anniversary break away

SC, West Midlands, stayed: August 2023

Booked this break through OPL Breaks and have no complaints with the booking process or the facilities provided. The hotel itself is perfectly located near the river and RSC. The food is of a very high quality and we enjoyed our evening meal with attentive staff throughout our stay. The afternoon tea as part of the package was also lovely. The rooms themselves are very spacious and the bathrooms are huge with our room not only having a bath but a large walk in separate shower. All in all a wonderful two night stay

Much Ado About the Arden Hotel

Benedick and Beatrice of Huntingdon, stayed: July 2023

My wife and I recently stayed at the Arden Hotel for one night as we had matinee tickets for much ado about nothing at the RSC.

Parking was extremely easy and convenient and although we were too early to check-in to our room, as we were so close to the theatre, we managed to check-in during the halftime interval of the RSC performance. Our overnight deal included dinner and breakfast and both meals were excellent with very personable service and extremely tasty food.

The location of the Arden Hotel could not be better and our room could not have been more comfortable , though to be picky, the bathroom was a little tired.

My wife and I enjoyed a thoroughly, relaxing stay at the Arden Hotel, and we look forward to returning in the very near future.

Thank you to all the staff.

Perfect for a theatre trip

JM, Cambridgeshire, stayed: July 2023

We had a lovely stay at the Arden Hotel coupled with a RSC theatre performance. The hotel could not have been in a better location. Right in the centre of town but quiet and secluded. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant, especially breakfast. Our room was comfortable and clean although a full length mirror would have been useful! All the staff we met were polite cheerful and extremely helpful.
Thank you.

Recent stay at Arden Hotel

Sally, Lincolnshire, stayed: June 2023

This was a Christmas gift and we had a lovely time. The hotel was very welcoming and our room looked out over the RSC. We went to watch 'As You Like It' and were able to have a pre-theatre meal, which was very good as were the welcome drinks. Breakfast was also excellent and staff were unfailingly helpful. Was good to be able to park at the hotel too although driving through Stratford was slightly challenging.

No review title

Anon, stayed: June 2023

The rooms that were offered as part of the booking were in poor condition. The doors leading into the bedrooms looked like there had been cases and baggage banged again them as they were all badly scuffed and scratched and needed painting. As the first thing you see when entering the room it did fill us with much confidence. The room was basic and not upgraded and the bottom of the bath was not in a good state and condition. Luxury hotel does not really match what was on offer. Would have had the same kind of room at the Premier Inn for a lot less money. Very disappointed.

The amazing Arden staff.

Our stay at the Arden absolutely fabulous. Bedroom & bathroom very spacious. Gardens beautiful. Breakfast scrumptious. But most of all the staff were very helpful and so kind and friendly.
