a bit tired
The staff were very helpful. Our toilet door would not close the door was too big for the frame. Heated towel rail was broken no lights in swimming pool showers due to flood and room needs a coat of paint.
Needs a few running repairs to keep a high standard. Restaurant manager did not follow covid rules but all her staff did!
Just what we needed
We booked this two night break as our first stay away from home since March. It was a good place to stay, our room was a good size and had a lovely view. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. We went home feeling relaxed and refreshed. Happy to recommend.
Could do better
The hotel stay was very good, it is a pity that they cannot sort out the bill. We are still waiting for a correct bill to pay, quoted price for an extra night was not reflected on the revised bill and they seem unable or unwilling to correct it
Lovely views
First the positives: Room was clean and bed comfy with beautiful views. Breakfast was good - nice buffet.
Negatives: Room was not very well sound-proofed and we were disturbed by the constant slamming of the heavy doors of other rooms and the cupboards (which don't have soft close). Evening meal was 'so so' - nothing really wrong but curiously tasteless. It arrived very quickly and extremely hot so I guess was microwaved. The drinks service lagged well behind the extremely speedy food service so our wine which was ordered when the starters plates were taken away didn't arrive until the main course had been eaten. The hotel is dog friendly - my fault for not reading that bit in the hotel description- but a bit off putting to think dogs might have been in the bedroom and sat on blankets etc (they weren't allowed in the restaurant though thank goodness). Pool very small.
3 day stay at Tweaksbury Park
This was a birthday treat from my wife.
Excellent location ideal for golf lovers. But no lift service so staying on the 3rd floor was difficult and I was not aware of any concierge service. We were checked in and directed to the rooms with no effort of enquiring about any help needed. Customer service was average and for guests who don't play golf good to have a walk around!
Breakfast was good with helpful waiters and had two dinners food is good with good service. The choice is limited.
I would not rush to go this hotel unless a golfer.
Not the relaxing break we were looking for!
My stay wasn t as relaxing as I d hoped! The receptionist was unhelpful and unwelcoming. We checked in early so were fully prepared for our room to not be ready but no offer was made for us to make use of the spa, restaurant or any facilities, our luggage was stored and we were left to work things out for ourselves. We booked a special offer stay that included dinner and a bottle of sparkling wine in our room on arrival, we had to ask for the bottle after dinner, the offer wine wasn t available so We were kept waiting for 25 minutes in reception whilst staff ran around deciding on an alternative to offer me! Dinner was poor and late led any flavour... we did inform the waiter! In the photos of the spa show a bottle of bubbles by the pool but the facilities do not allow/ advertise any such offerings! Really not the spa break we had hoped for, we felt more aggravated than relaxed at the end of it!

Room was very hot no air conditioning
Hotel was OK and would of been excellent if they could do something about the location of the rooms. No air coming in the windows. The front of the hotel was cool but not the back which made the rooms very hot.
