Super comfortable, well appointed hotel in attractive setting. Perfect for a three day break.

Joanna C, Surrey, stayed: September 2018

Hotel lived up to the good reviews read online. Stayed in ' a touch of class' room on top floor as wanted room with bath. Nicely decorated room with safe, fridge, coffee machine, tea tray and fan. More than you get in comparable priced hotel rooms. Restaurant and bar staff were excellent as was food. Great variety for breakfast. Can't comment on Spa as didn't use. If my husband and I played golf it would have been perfect!

An enjoyable break

TB, Mid Glamorgan, stayed: September 2018

We stayed 2 nights in a Touch of Class room. The Hotel is in a great location with wonderful views over the countryside, and has a range of leisure facilities. Reception on check in was good and efficient, and although the room was comfortable and had all facilities it was rather small for what we expected. The bathroom also worked well, but was very small. We unexpectedly had to que for breakfast on the Sunday morning, but the food was good. Our evening meal in the Restaraunt was very enjoyable - good food and service.
There was a dispute over an incorrect bill on check out, but this was quickly resolved.
Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Restaurant and spa need updating. Served my daughter a meal with gluten when asked spefically for gluten free, eventually rectified

Tewkesbury Park says...

Thank you for your review and I can confirm that we're already addressing the changes you require in our restaurant. I am delighted that we're refurbishing the area and our new restaurant, Mint at Tewkesbury Park, will open on Saturday 27th October, following a major redevelopment. Our spa treatment rooms were created just two years ago and their popularity indicates that our guests are very impressed with the work we did, as just three years ago, major work was also undertaken in the health club.

We hope that you'll continue to visit Tewkesbury Park and look forward to welcoming you again.

Best wishes

Could do better

Anon, stayed: September 2018

The hotel stay was very good, it is a pity that they cannot sort out the bill. We are still waiting for a correct bill to pay, quoted price for an extra night was not reflected on the revised bill and they seem unable or unwilling to correct it

Short break

Tony, Hampshire, stayed: August 2018

Not a golfer, but fancied a quiet couple of days away. Tewkesbury Park was perfect. Lovely surroundings, great service, excellent food. Room was very comfortable, my only comment was that in providing so much in the room, I sometimes felt a little crowded... but really I d recommend this place to anyone. Loved it.

Birthday treat

AM, stayed: August 2018

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tewkesbury Park. It is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds but only a short distance from the centre of Tewkesbury. I just mentioned in passing when making the restaurant booking that it was a birthday treat and when we arrived they had upgraded our room to a suite which was very luxurious. We also enjoyed the pool and spa facilities. I only have one very small criticism about the restaurant. The staff were very pleasant but it was all a bit chaotic, especially at breakfast. However breakfast and dinner were very good. Overall very impressed.
