An excellent stay.
We had a great time away. The pool was really nice, clean and luxurious. The restaurant food was excellent, very good value.
Excellent, and with soul
This is a lovely warm-ambienced hotel, even though some golf hotels can be soulless. We stayed in one of the best rooms (Opulence) and couldn t fault it - very comfy, luxurious and the most terrific bath. Food in the restaurant was excellent, but my veggie portions were HUGE (even for me!) which was wasteful. The only slight criticism was the speed of the staff, who seemed a bit bewildered, patchy and in one case, morose. Tables inside and out were slow to be cleared and not cleaned, which is poor in a pandemic. I wouldn t let that stop me coming again though. Thank you.
Good location
We stayed in one of the suites which gave a lovely view over the grounds. It had everything you could need including a TV opposite the bath which was a nice touch. The staff were attentive especially the reception and bar staff and the food in the restaurant in the evening was good. However we were disappointed by the breakfast. The hot breakfast was a buffet breakfast which was luke warm and not very tasty. We had a continental breakfast the next day which was much better. The service at breakfast was not as good as the rest of the hotel which was a shame.
The location was good in easy reach of the Cotswolds villages of Broadway and Stow.
Fabulous break
Lovely hotel, good food, very clean. Would definitely stay again.

The food in the restaurant was quite disappointing unfortunately, the cheesecake was particularly unpleasant, very sticky in a gluey type of way, didn t taste homemade at all but cheap shop bought in our opinion, the rest of the food was ok but not amazing. There was supposed to be a welcome bottle in the room which wasn t there although when we mentioned this when we left we were given a bottle to take away. Generally an ok stay but not amazing. Staff were helpful but not particularly warm and welcoming.

We stayed for two nights and liked the hotel. It is in an excellent location and room with good food. My only negative comment was that service in the restaurant and bar was poor on the first night
3 night stay
We stayed at Tewkesbury Park for 3 nights for our mini-honeymoon. It was easy to book, including spa treatments. They were welcoming on arrival and the room was excellent. We ate in the restaurant on the first night followed by drinks on the lawn. Although not busy, the restaurant service was slow and we ended up with starter & main before our drinks arrived. The cocktails were poor as they were not mixed well (had bits in my old fashioned) and lack of garnish- I think probably due to lack of training/ supervision. However the food was excellent. Breakfast was mostly good, although the service was a little unwelcoming on the first day. We booked a spa package with afternoon tea. The spa staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The afternoon tea was fantastic. Overall, a lovely relaxing stay and would go again, but there are a few little bits that could be improved.
Excellent last minute stay with friends
Our original hotel was cancelled the night before our stay due to covid. As we were meeting friends from the Peak District we still wanted to get away. Tewkesbury Park was offered as alternative which we accepted. We were very pleased. Friendly staff, excellent food and overall a lovely stay. Hotel had all covid points covered and we all felt completely safe. Would definately stay there again and would happily recommend to family and friends.
