Excellent Stay

Richard E, Gloucestershire, stayed: August 2023

From the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant
We had one of the Garden/hot tub rooms which was spacious yet cosy, comfortable and the tub was exactly what we needed.
The only negative (though far from being major!) was that my partner couldn t get one of the cocktails she wanted as the barman was away at that time and the staff weren t aware of the recipe.
The food was excellent and well presented
One of the best breakfasts in a long time

So enjoyed my stay at this wonderful characterful luxe hotel.
We were made to feel very welcome in this magical ancient/modern world.
Afternoon tea is a must!

A Pleasant break.

Anne, Cambridgeshire, stayed: August 2023

We spent three nights in this charming hotel on a dinner, bed and breakfast arrangement. The dinners were nicely presented and delicious, breakfast menus had a good selection. The staff were all very pleasant; some of the restaurant staff were young and had only been working there for a few weeks and still in training but they were very helpful. We had a very large room and bathroom with a small walk-in shower in addition to the bath. Unfortunately we did not have a view of the lovely surrounding countryside and the room was cold as little sun through the windows. However the central heating was still on for us to use as we needed. We would certainly return to Charingworth Manor as it is a good base for the surrounding area.

Welcome return

Peter, Mid Glamorgan, stayed: August 2023

After a number of years we had the opportunity to return to the Charingworth Manor and were not disappointed.
The standard of service, food and decor were first class befitting it's high class status. Will certainly return in the not too distant future.
