We had booked in for two nights , but only stayed one night , the room was small and uncomfortable the bed was so uncomfortable my wife slept in the chair the first night , we are both pensioners and could not cope another night although we lost money , the food was lovely but room rubbish

Delightful one night stay

Wolsey J, Hertfordshire, stayed: August 2023

Hotel is well maintained in all areas.Decorations and furnishings are very attractive. The swimming pool is attractive and easy to use.Evening meal was the best we have had for a long time. All round it is the best hotel we have stayed at in the uk. Will be our hotel of choice when visiting the Cotswolds

Beautiful location

AC, Berkshire, stayed: August 2023

The hotel is in a lovely location. The food for breakfast and evening meal was of a good standard, also the service. The rooms were well appointed but the room on the first night backed onto a road so with the window open to ventilate the room it was noisy. It also had very noisy floorboards above which awoke us with a start later in the evening. The second room was much better with a good view and quieter

The room was quiet and the bed extra large and extremely comfortable. The swimming pool is delightful. The food is interestingly presented and staff are attentive.

Perfect idyll for time away with great food and leisure facilities

If you want somewhere a little different Charingworth totally fits the bill. A special place so close to a multiplicity of National Trust and other beautiful settings. Lots of lovely walking even from just over the back gate! The swimming pool is a lovely size and the breakfast service is terrific!

Hidden Gem

John D, Hampshire, stayed: July 2023

We have stayed in a number of hotels in the Cotswolds, but we believe that Charingworth Manor is one of the best. This we think is because it is small enough to feel really welcoming, sited in a truly beautiful and peaceful country location. However, it has really good facilities such as the swimming pool and gym tucked away on site. The food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast is also better than the other Cotswold Hotels that we have stayed at. The main building and gardens are also very charming. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and were lucky to have a spacious room with lovely views over the garden and beyond which was much appreciated.
