Lovely hotel

LW, Lancashire, stayed: October 2020

Only booked 1 night wish we d booked longer, very relaxing hotel, food in restaurant was excellent, service was excellent too, would definitely stay again. Only negative is the charge for Carpark, it s not in the town centre of Stratford so couldn t justify being charged.

Burnside Hotel says...

Good afternoon LW,

Thank you for the wonderful feedback, I shall pass on your lovely comments to our chef on the food, and to the staff. They will be very happy. I do hope you come back again soon to our hotel and stay longer next time. It's always lovely to know you can come and relax with us anytime you wish. I will also pass on the parking charges comment to management as we take feedback on board from our guests.

Regards Donna - Reception

Highly recommended

KM, Cheshire, stayed: October 2020

We stayed for my partner s birthday on the package deal which included a spacious and beautifully decorated, clean executive room.
Sparking clean bathroom with power shower and luxurious towel.

The staff were attentive and friendly.

The bar looked good but, due to COVID, the cozy bit at the bar was a no go zone. The bar area under glass roof was a bit corridor-like... could do with tying in with the rest of the hotel which is beautifully decorated.

The restaurant was lovely with a good selection and lovely food presentation. Breakfast was perfect in terms of selection and quality.

Would definitely stay again.

Nice Escape

Simon S, Nottinghamshire, stayed: July 2021

This was the first break away for 2 years without kids, our 23rd wedding anniversary. We wanted a tranquil location where we could simply chill. Our stay delivered, we had a garden room which was perfect for the Mediterranean weather we had and the restaurant and breakfast was really nice and very attentive staff. The deal we had for what we got we great value. Would be come again, absolutely, and a great spot to explore the Cotswolds as well. Thanks you

Comfortable hotel with excellent customer service

Maureen, stayed: January 2022

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in the Burnside hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable with a huge bed and two chairs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and we had delicious meals both nights and a great breakfast. We had booked a package deal which was excellent value for money.

The hotel is very close to Ann Hathaway's cottage (which sadly wasn't open) it is a 15 minute stroll into Stratford. We would recommend the MAD museum.

An extra plus for us was there was a Catholic church a few minutes walk away.

Perfect stay

Anthony H, Anglesey, stayed: October 2021

We had stayed at the Burnside before but this time we chose a better room and it was well worth it. All the staff..and I mean all were polite, friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were superb. Room was warm and clean. An easy walk into Stratford along footpaths. All in a very pleasant experience.
