Great stay

Really lovely very spacious room and spotlessly clean room. Fantastic value for money with a three night stay including champagne and afternoon tea. We had ours in one of the pods which was lovely by the river. Staff very helpful and welcoming. There is a great pub a few minutes down the road if you don t want to eat in the restaurant for another night. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and we would absolutely recommend.

Lovely hotel, beautiful location

From the first telephone conversation through to final departure, every member of the staff was polite, helpful and friendly. Excellent service and the restaurant team were particularly attentive.
We loved our standard double room with great views across the lawn to the pond. Very comfortable and clean. Location was perfect as it was rural but only 10 minutes from Gloucester and close to other Cotswold towns.
We would happily stay again.

My Mum and I stayed for a treat for her Birthday . We had a lovely stay and we found the staff really helpful and friendly. The dining was a pleasant experience and there was a good choice at Breakfast . The hotel is looking a little tired , however it was clean and tidy. It was located well and we were able to visit Painswick and Bourton on the Water .

We enjoyed our stay at Bowden Hall

We enjoyed our stay at Bowden Hall very much. The staff were great, we especially had very good service from Tina and Joanne at breakfast. The choice at breakfast was very good and the food was too. We had one evening meal there which was good and an afternoon tea as part of the deal we booked, and were spoiled with a bottle of wine for our 25th wedding anniversary, which we celebrated whilst there. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We would come again and also recommend to our family and friends.

Relaxing break

Lovely hotel. Great breakfast. Everyone in our group enjoyed their evening meal. I would say avoid the pizza though. Great location.
