Dissatisfaction
Two nights stay. Girl on reception not very receptive when we arrived, did not engage in conversation just gave us our room key and told us what time breakfast was. Room is the best thing about the hotel. The spa facilities very run down and ladies changing rooms were unclean and the showers very run down and dirty. Bar staff, waitresses and waiters very friendly. On our first night there was no record of us down for an evening meal and we had to be squeezed in. The food on both evenings was very good. On the second night it took over twenty minutes to accept that our deal included a bottle of wine ! I had to show my booking details. Sadly after our meal on Wednesday we were sat relaxing in reception and overheard the male receptionist use the f word twice to a colleague referring to a hotel guest, this is totally unacceptable and very unprofessional. Also found it very odd he had a Chinese takeaway delivered too!
Would I recommend staying here? Probably not
Excellent customer service
Staff make this hotel from the reception, restaurant, bar and cleaning staff.
Well done. The room was disappointing not sure it really qualified to be a superior room I would stay again but the boy if I was offered another room

Very good would recommend
Fixed menu disappointing
Dinners were well cooked but fixed menu very disappointing. Breakfasts were poor, basic and cooked breakfast was buffet style with little variation. Toaster again self service and took a long time to produce toast. Bedroom furniture was basic for a so called "Superior" room. No view to speak of and no air conditioning. Shower over bath which makes showering difficult for people our age. No lift and very difficult stairs to negotiate. Very small car park in front of hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However the greatest disappointment was the fixed menu.
Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay, and every member of the staff was helpful and friendly. The food really stood out as absolutely fantastic.
My only comment would be that a patch of wallpaper was coming unstuck in our room, which surprised me as otherwise the attention to detail was outstanding.
We so enjoyed ourselves that we are thinking about booking for New Year.
Relaxed gem
Beautiful hotel set in relaxing setting. Food was excellent and most staff very attentive and friendly.
The spa area could do with an upgrade and the gym felt cramped. Dressing gowns weren't readily available and I didn't get one until day 2. Changing rooms very tired and a tad grimy. Rooms overall very good but some extra cleaning needed around door handles and under the bed.

Beautiful setting,
We enjoyed our evening at Billelesey Manor hotel, it was very good value for money although breakfast was very chaotic, we had to ask several times for marmalade.
