Lovely relaxing stay in charming manor.

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. Charming building and grounds. Very welcoming staff, lovely large bedroom with big en-suite. Booked through country hotels which gave better value for money with dinner, bed and breakfast.

Romantic stay

Everything was perfect. Room was huge and beautiful. Dinner was superb, staff were so friendly. Breakfast was very good.

A relaxing getaway

A beautiful building with excellent staff. The spa is basic (pool, sauna, steam room) but still a nice treat. Only complaint is the restaurant is very small considering the size of the hotel, so the tables are close together and you don t get much privacy. Our dinner reservation was also pushed back 30 mins despite us booking 4 months in advance, and by the time we were seated the kitchen had run out of venison and two of the starters. Not the end of the world but still frustrating considering how far in advance we had booked.

Lovely historic hotel and location

Everything good, including Valentines Tasting Menu, spa experience. Only downside was breakfast buffet which was poorly organised with many items not freshly replenished and missing cutlery, glasses, etc.

A splendid hotel for a quiet break

We thought that the hotel was very welcoming and the facilities were excellent. Above all, the staff were very helpful with a special mention for those in the bar.

Great find not far from Stratford

Lovely hotel with well appointed rooms.
Some difficulties in dealing with our DB&B booking in the restaurant but they were able to correct with some credit being offered
