Spa
We were happy with most aspects of the hotel and enjoyed our stay but the Spa changing rooms and showers were grubby. Once one of the showers was leaking so I had to walk across a wet towel to get to the pool. Not what we would expect at a luxury hotel. I mentioned it at check-out and was told there was to be a big renovation of the spa next year, obviously needed.
Billesley Manor Hotel
This hotel was everything my wife and I needed for a great relaxing few days. The management and staff were very helpful in all our needs, the room was excellent with the only slight complaint was the stairs to the room were quite steep for two 70 year olds to tackle, one could say that it was good excercise, but it did not interfere with our enjoyment of our stay. We would gladly recommend the hotel for any future visitors.
Good but could be amazing.
Lovely place but the acess to our room (15) was very dodgy !! The bathroom whilest clean was very very tired. The staff were all excellent. We did however enjoy being there.
Lovely food, character building and relaxing feel
Billesley Manor is a charming character hotel with attractive terrace and an expanse of lawn with feature pool and fountain.
We were pleased to be allocated room 14 in the original building and although the stairs was steep, we opened the door to a large dual aspect room with seating area, large bathroom and king size bed.
The room is at a point it needs redecoration and new carpets, but it was comfortable and great views.
I recommend you book ahead for evening meal, the food was excellent and so was breakfast, the staff weren't quite as attentive as I'd expect for a 4 star hotel, although reception staff were pleasant.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.
good but could do better
Had a lovely time staff helpful and pleasant only one negative the room I stayed in was not very private staff were walking past and there was nothing up at the windows to stop them looking in.

Country spa break
Hotel was lovely; clean comfortable and the grounds well kept. The food was delicious. Customer service was variable. We had a lovely waitress and the barman was nice, but the receptionist was rude and didn t seem to know what she was doing- did not answer our question about reserving a table for dinner so then when we came down, found there were no tables before 9pm. On the first day the man on reception in the spa was unhelpful and unfriendly, but on the second day, the man (a different one!) couldn t have been more helpful and friendly.
Weekend Break
We had a lovely two night stay, food was superb and the staff were excellent.
