Excellent hotel in a countryside setting
We had an enjoyable two day stay in this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable and the restaurant excellent. The breakfast was particularly good with a very wide selection available in addition to the classic 'full English'. I would recommend this hotel.

Everything was great. I would just have liked a vegetarian dinner menu or a V next to the options so o
could be confident I wasn t eating meat!
Evesham Retreat
This hotel is in a luxurious setting. In late Victorian times it was a country estate for a French Duc fleeing the revolution. History, good architecture and a lovely garden enhance it. The staff are friendly and always helpful. The bed was enormous and comfortable but the room was in need of some finishing touches to add to the comfort. The electric kettle had a minuscule lead and had to be plugged in on the floor. An extension lead was supplied when asked for. There was a tiny amount of hanging space in the wardrobe.
I chose it for its location but was disappointed with the dinner menu, which was expensive and the food did not live up to the hype.
Breakfast was plentiful and gave plenty of choice. Top marks for that.
All in all it was a pleasant experience but next time I will try another hotel in the area.
Not the best
A super comfortable hotel and excellent friendly staff let down by the limited choice, small portioned overpriced restaurant

Wonderful relaxing hotel stay
Attractive 19th century hotel renovated skillfully so as not to spoil the original design. Beautifully maintained garden with stunning views. Staff welcoming and friendly, rooms spacious and clean and finally excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and only wished we could have stayed longer !
