Great break

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay including Ted our Frenchie who was made to feel very welcome .
Food was delicious and the room had all the facilities with a very comfy bed. Definitely recommend especially for dog owners too

Relaxing stay

Central to places we wanted to visit The Ormond offered excellent service and more than comfortable room and really large ensuite. Restaurant was warm and inviting with lovely menu and attentive staff. How pleasant not to be rushed.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful 2 nights at The Ormond, Tetbury. The staff are wonderful, so happy, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely Shabby Chic rooms, bathroom was lovely.
The Courtyard Garden is so tranquil and beautiful.
I actually got an email prior to our visit asking if there was anything we would like, so refreshing and thoughtful.
Could not fault the staff and the evening meals.

Midweek break

The Ormond is a nice hotel in the centre of the town. There was a small hitch when we arrived in that the staff were not aware of the terms of the deal with hotel breaks for example the fact thar dinner on the first night was included. In fainess however they quickly snorted it . The
Location is great and the town is lovely with nice walks and lots around the area. There's no parking at the hotel but there is a large free parking area a short walk away. All in all a very nice experience which we would recommend.

Ormond Tetbury

We were taken to our room by the the lovely lady on reception. We were pleasantly surprised by our beautifully decorated and furnished room. The bed was very comfortable with crisp cotton bed linen. Our bathroom had a very large walk-in shower and ample complimentary toiletries by the basin. Lovely thick white towels. We were at the front of the hotel which could be quite noisy with traffic during rush hour so we closed the secondary glazing for sometime which helped, but was quiet enough to sleep with the windows open at night time. Friendly pleasant staff throughout. Our breakfast was ample and tasty. We had a delicious dinner in the evening so all around a very nice stay.

Although our visit to stay was not our first, please may I kindly express our gratitude for a wonderful stay, complimented by extremely courteous staff, excellent guality of food and a great location to enjoy a rewarding break.
Congratulations all round to everyone involved as we look forward to our next visit as soon as we can

Enjoyable Stay

We had a very enjoyable stay at this small friendly hotel . The staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious. We would stay again.

Nice Stay

Probably not the luxury stay I was hoping I had paid for but it was OK. Staff at check in were really helpful and friendly. Room was a bit tired, too hot and bed very soft (which I know some people would like).
Dinner on the night was excellent
Breakfast the next morning was a different experience with not enough staff it took about an hour and during that time we saw people walking out having waited 30 mins before being served.
Hotel is right in the centre of town so ideal for other pubs and places to visit. Recommend the railway shed cafe and free long stay car park at the same location
Will probably stick to AirBnB in the future.
