The Ormond
The staff were very friendly and attentive, however the owner let them down and did not go out of their way to speak.
The room was good but a little more attention to dusting on skirting boards was needed.
Breakfast fresh and good.
Great place to stay
We had three days at The Ormond in November 2021 as a base for exploring the Cotswolds. The hotel is centrally located in Tetbury, a charming town. The hotel has no parking but that is not a problem with cheap or free carparks nearby. Our room was big and quiet even though facing the street. Looks like it has been recently done up. Good TV, comfortable bed, great bathroom although it had only a shower and no bath. We ate in the restaurant on the first night as part of the package. The food was excellent but we had a long wait between courses with service a bit haphazard. There are some excellent restaurants nearby! We would stay there again.

West Cotswold Getaway.
Hotel is in the heart of the town, but be aware, NO car parking! Wasn't made aware at the time of booking. There are short stay car parks nearby (pay) or a free long stay car park about a 8-10 minute walk away (by railway museum). Food in the restaurant (evening) was good, Breakfast adequate. "Upgraded" room, but am oblivious as to what was the upgrade? Tetbury is worth visiting, and so is the surrounding areas.
Lovely Small Hotel
Small hotel, well located in the centre of Tetbury, not far from the National Arboratum at Westingburt.
A perfect place to stay if you like small individual hotels rather than large national chains.
Being small, the hotel doesn't have lots of facilities, but the staff were friendly and helpful, the room comfy and a reasonable size with a decent sized bathroom.
No parking at the hotel, but there was a long stay car park just 5 minutes walk away in Old Brewery Lane with parking costing about 2.50 for 24 hours.
The meals served in the dining room were very good and there was a pleasant pub bar and outside area as well. (Too cold to use during our stay!)
Our room was just above the outside seating area, so could be noisy if people are sat outside drinking late into the evening. However, this was not a problem during our stay.
