Beautiful location ,friendly welcome with delicious dining
We had a lovely stay in a comfortable Silkwood room with a super king size bed. Dining in the restaurant on both nights we had the the most delicious food . Highly recommend the crab and lobster ravioli and the lamb main course.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hare and Hounds, the only minor issue was that the heat of the towel rail in the en suite made the bedroom too hot even with the inter connecting door closed.

Thank you for your feedback, which is very much appreciated. There is a switch for the towel rails to turn off/on. I am sorry that you were so hot, but I do hope that now you are aware of the switch, this would not deter you for coming to visit us again.

An enjoyable stay
We'd stayed at the H&H before and this stay, with friends, was very enjoyable. Our bedroom was OK, but not particularly large or luxurious. The lounges are comfortable and spacious. The restaurant was well organised, particularly given Covid restrictions and the service good. The food was very good and we all enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. We hope to stay again in the future.

relaxing beautiful hotel
Had a wonderful overnight stay in this hotel. The service was excellent and we felt very safe with the covid safety precautions they use and have installed throughout the premises. The bedroom was beautiful and the whole ambience of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. We would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel as the local area is a lovely place to visit.

A little disappointing
The hotel is in a great location. Friendly welcoming reception staff and spacious clean room. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. However the award winning restaurant was very disappointing and over priced. The bar and lounge areas are comfortable and inviting but service is quick to finish. As residents we were unable to find anyone to serve a drink after 11pm.
We spent two nights at the hotel which was enjoyable but felt it was expensive.
