A jewel in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon
We stayed with other family members for a weekend. The hotel was comfortable and the cuisine was of a high standard. All the staff were helpful and friendly. It is the ideal place to stay before an evening at the RSC.
Best placed hotel in Stratford upon Avon
We arrived in glorious April sunshine and had drinks on the terrace over looking the picturesque River Avon. The whole town available to us in a few strides and the car stayed in the hotel car park for two days. The room was superb and the food delicious although portion sizes a tad on small size after a huge days walking. Loved it though and would go back in a heartbeat.
Just what we wanted!
We wanted to relax for a couple of days in Stratford. The disabled friendly room avoided stairs and that was very much appreciated. I had lived in the hotel in the 1950s so it was interesting to see the changes! There is ample space to relax and the personal service was first class. This could be an annual event! Many thanks
Lovely hotel but with one exception...
Everything `about the hotels fine except that, being partially disabled. the lack of a lift is a major drawback. It means that, much as we would like to, a future stay for us is not practical.

My 2 sisters and niece stayed at the Arden Hotel for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The rooms and food were very good and the hotel is close to the town and opposite the Swan Theatre, which we went to the second night of our stay. We came by car and found the car park was a little bit tricky to find on the one-way system. We had good weather on the first day of our stay and were able to sit in the outdoor area and have a drink, which was very pleasant. If I'm coming back to Stratford I would stay here again.
Excellent hotel. Staff friendly. Room very good. Can't praise enough.
Overall excellent. Cannot fault this hotel.
LOVELY STAY, LOOK FORWARD TO COMING BACK
Great location overlooking the river and theatre. Restaurants, pubs, river and town centre within a couple of minutes walk. However, location was NOT noisy when we stayed in April. Beautiful riverside walk. Can catch the sightseeing bus almost outside the hotel. Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Had dinner one night in the restaurant which was also excellent. Room facilities, decor and ambience also excellent. We had view over the theatre and river (although a little set back) and our friends had a view over the lovely hotel gardens. Although generally OK, customer attention in the restaurant could have been a little quicker by the staff at times. However, would definitely go back to, and recommend, this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Beautiful hotel in central location
Had a wonderful 2 night stay celebrating my Mums 81st Birthday. A lovely touch from the hotel giving her hand made chocolates and a birthday card. The accommodation was well appointed with well stocked tea & coffee facilities and spa products in the bathroom (bathroom v hot with double radiator/towel rail).
Excellent evening meal and afternoon provided within the package.
A beautiful holiday with lovely staff, located in a superb position.
