A mid winter nights dream hotel.
Lovely little stay and package
A friendly welcome lovely big room.
Welcome drink large glass of wine each
Meal on first night afternoon tea on second
A short walk across the road to watch a mid summer nights dream
They also.do early service starting at 530 if you wanted to eat before the performance
The best thing about the hotel is the friendly helpful staff making g it a lovely two day visit
Weekend Escape
Ideally positioned for a visit to Stratford and Warwick. Helpful staff and relaxing. Room a good size and large bathroom. Only criticism is the restaurant and it's layout. Some seats too low for eatng and a busy breakfast with guests trying to reach continental offerings, having to squeeze past people sat at tables. Having said that, would stay again., but may look for an evening meal in town as restaurant cost for a couple can be expensive. But that is possibly the price you pay for the location.
Wonderful stay
Everything was perfect .
Enjoyable stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent throughout the hotel. We attended the RSC performance and the hotel was in an excellent location for this.Countryhotel breaks provided us with an excellent package and were supportive throughout. We felt that our upgraded room was spacious and comfortable but certain aspects such as carpets need upgrading as they look " was the case throughout the hotel.
Comfortable stay
Tge perfect bolt hole for the theatre. The Arden is very welcoming and quite special. Lovely afternoon teas and cocktails on the outer terrace. Comfortable and roomy rooms. A great place to stay.
Excellent location
Hotel is located directly opposite the theatre and an excellent location for everything in Stratford-upon-Avon. Unfortunately we weren't upgraded but the room was spacious with a large bathroom.
The evening meal was a disappointment for a luxury hotel but the breakfast was wonderful.
The reception staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful.
Staycation at the Arden
Lovely staff all members were polite and helpful. Great location for exploring Shakespeare's Stratford. Nice restaurant including outdoor terrace and gardens. Provided complimentary cot for our toddler.
You have to negotiate stairs to room and restaurant with our toddlers pram no alternative so be mindful if you have a heavy pram. Shower made a noise and 2nd night neighbours were v noisy. But for both issues quick response and resolved.
Restaurant - fried eggs for my fiest breakfast were covered in a nonedible film, don't see how eggs can go wrong!
Room - quite dark lighting and hard to find any plugs to use for charging?
Were given all the complimentary upgrades including deluxe room booked through off peak luxury. Some staff members were asking for signature for the complimentary offers others didn't so a bit confusing. I voluntarily paid the service charges for the complimentary offers but be mindful of that.
Overall, would stay again.
Perfect for a theatre trip
We had a lovely stay at the Arden Hotel coupled with a RSC theatre performance. The hotel could not have been in a better location. Right in the centre of town but quiet and secluded. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant, especially breakfast. Our room was comfortable and clean although a full length mirror would have been useful! All the staff we met were polite cheerful and extremely helpful.
Thank you.
