Exceptional Experience Celebrating a 70th Birthday Party

Daniela V, Hertfordshire, stayed: March 2024

I am writing to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the extraordinary service and hospitality provided by your hotel during our family s celebration of a special 70th birthday party. Hosting five families, all with young children, could have been a challenging feat for any establishment, but your team managed it with grace, professionalism, and a level of attentiveness that went above and beyond our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a willingness to accommodate our every need. Your staff was incredibly understanding and patient, ensuring that both the adults and children felt comfortable, welcomed, and valued. The thoughtful touches, from arranging child-friendly amenities to providing quick and efficient service, made all the difference in our stay.

The rooms allocated to our families were not only spacious and comfortable but also impeccably clean and well-equipped to cater to the needs of young children. The flexibility and understanding shown by your staff in managing our group s unique requirements, such as meal times and space for the children to play, were truly commendable.

Furthermore, the dedication of your team to make our 70th birthday celebration memorable was evident in every detail, from the beautifully decorated venue to the delicious, customized menu that catered to all our dietary preferences. The attentiveness of your staff throughout the event ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on enjoying this special occasion with our loved one.

Your hotel has not only provided us with exceptional accommodation and service but has also contributed to creating lasting memories for our families. We are immensely grateful for your team s effort in making our stay and celebration a truly remarkable experience.

Fine overall but can do much better in terms of customer service

PP, Hertfordshire, stayed: March 2024

Despite me informing the hotel, at the time of booking, that we would be celebrating my 60th birthday, they do not do anything special for me. There was a note on file but staff failed to act on it. Reception manager did subsequently apologize for this.

We were unable to use the gym, pool and sauna facilities on the last day due to essential maintenance - but there was no prior notice of this, and no compensation was offered.

Lovely Break

Emma, Hampshire, stayed: February 2024

We spent two nights at Tewkesbury Park and had a lovely relaxing time. Our room was clean and well appointed and all the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. We dined in the restaurant for one evening and the food was delicious and a decent wine menu to complement. My Husband made use of the golf course one morning while relaxed in a sunny corner of one of the lounges. The lobby areas are very comfortable and there are a reasonable selection of books and board games to keep one occupied. Would thoroughly recommend a relaxing break here.

Short Break

KN, Warwickshire, stayed: February 2024

We booked the suite, not a comfortable stay due to the air conditioning not working. Heaters scattered throughout the suite, needed to warm the room. The Bathroom however was cold.
Evening meal on the first night was excellent due to the service from the head waiter.
Second evening not so good, due to change of staff.
Breakfast experience not good. The English breakfast was help yourself, from warm up trays. Resulting in eggs being stale and hard. Bacon soggy and fatty. Mushrooms rubbery. Continental breakfast however was good.
Service for breakfast could be improved by having a warm welcome and attentive staff.

Our three days at Tewkesbury Manor really did exceed our expectations. The staff were really helpful and efficient. The food was great and the swimming, spa and sauna were a delight to use. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We'll be back!
