Okay hotel

Sudbury House is a strange hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. The bar doesn't do lunches. The rooms are a bit like motel rooms - no wardrobes, minimal drawers, no view. Restaurant food mixed, some very good. OPL deal excellent!

Ideal for a short break

Iwould stay here again but would eat out for dinner as restaurant was disappointing.
The grounds were lovely and very well kept.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff

The room was top quality and the staff were very friendly and helpful . Only feedback really is that the menu choice for the evening meal is very limited

Anniversary stay

Overall good but in my opinion let down by the restaurant, breakfast was good but we were the only ones at dinner and food was mediocre.
Weather was very hot but we were provided with a fan.
We stayed for 3 nights and although room was serviced daily (bathroom cleaned) we never had a change of towels or bed linen.
Staff were friendly and accomodating.
Great base for exploring Cotswolds and surrounding area.

Pleasant stay

Very nice room. Appreciated Prosecco and chocolates. When we had a problem with the shower the hotel sorted it efficiently and quickly. Had a good meal in the restaurant. Lovely gardens and a short distance to Farringdon. Would recommend.

Very happy with the hotel and its location. Staff very helpful. Disappointed with the small choice of vegetarian food on the menu!

Very pleasant stay

We had a lovely couple of days here. Every member of staff was very helpful; we had an issue with our shower which they got onto straightaway. It wasn t as powerful shower as we would have liked but other than that the room was very good, large, comfortable, clean and well stocked with tea making facilities.
Food in the restaurant was goosd, we had a lovely steak. Whilst we were there not making folks ate an evening meal in the restaurant at the same time as we did so it lacked a little atmosphere. There were a couple of weddings on the Saturday, but the hotel had telephoned us in advance to warn us and moved us to a smaller dining room which was perfectly fine.
We d definitely stay here again if visiting this part of the country.
