Perfect Hotel

Debbie, Oxfordshire, stayed: November 2019

Really enjoyed our stay at No 38 The Park. Beautiful Hotel, good location and staff very friendly and helpful.
Room was lovely. Amazing bathroom. Comfy bed and very clean throughout.
We didn t eat in the restaurant in the evening but enjoyed a really good breakfast in the morning.
The only negative point is a slamming front door. (possibly just needs adjusting). However, in comparison to the many positives this is a minor point.

No38 The Patk, Cheltenham

Sara H, Worcestershire, stayed: June 2024

We booked this hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary & it did not disappoint. Firstly the staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble & everything was done with a smile. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a chic mix of old & new & it has a lovely relaxed vibe. We were upgraded to an excellent room, which again was beautiful & a little quirky. We stayed in June on two of the hottest days of the year & although no air conditioning, we were provided with a Dyson fan which was great & very welcome. Also Dyson hair dryers are provided as standard. Breakfast was included in our stay & along with a small but perfectly adequate buffet the menu was excellent & varied. As it was warm we were able to sit in the charming courtyard off the dining room to eat. The only disappointment for us was that the restaurant wasn t open on either of the nights we stayed but can understand that being a Sunday & Monday but there are plenty of options in Cheltenham . I wouldn t hesitate to recommend & we ll be returning for a winter break, which we expect will be very cosy & inviting.

Ok room, although having a voucher always seem to get the worst room.2nd Floor, too Hot, No Bath and shower had only overhead spray, plus shower temperature was unstable plus unable to open the showroom Windows! Also, the ceiling fan didn't always open the shutter and when it did ther was only a small amount of air movement. No control over the heated towel rail and very difficult to shut the door which had Three high steps.
