Mallery Court Hotel & Spa
Booked as a weekend break for my wife's birthday. Could not fault the helpfulness of the staff and the quality and facilities of the spa which was exceptional. The brasserie was very good but the hotel fine dining was not to our taste with a limited choice for the main course. Would we stay again - yes.
Great weekend
Great week end in beautiful place
Lovely restaurants
Relaxing place
And central location
Would recommend
Enjoyable stay
A lovely hotel and grounds. Enjoyable Tasting Menus with good variety on both nights of our stay. Mostly friendly and welcoming staff - particularly in restaurant. Great breakfasts. Drinks and wine a bit expensive compared with similar hotels and disappointed (although didn't begrudge it) to have a service charge added to the advertised cost of the two-night Sparkling Break.
Short Break
The hotel had a luxury feel with spacious room and good facilities. It was cleaned to a high standard. The only negative of our dual aspect room overlooking the garden was the very noisy heating system below us. The restaurant and Brassiere served excellent food and the cocktails were pricey but sublime.
Overall staff were friendly and helpful. We did unfortunately have a poor experience on the first morning at breakfast when our order was forgotten and the senior staff member who dealt with the incident with was brusque and rude. Suffice to say all other staff we dealt with in regards to this experience were apologetic, polite and helpful. We were given complimentary drinks with our evening meal and the opportunity to have breakfast in our room, which we did, and it was lovely.
Overall our stay was a good one and we would definitely go back.
special offer weekend break in luxury midland converted manor house
Beautiful old manor house set in impressive gardens. Staff the most friendly and helpful of any hotel in which we have stayed. Particularly great service from Sai in "The Brasserie", and the gentleman who carried our luggage and was generally so hospitable.
Room a bit "poky" but this may be because this was an old converted manor house. Despite temperature outside of 34 centigrade and no air conditioning, the room was always pleasantly warm with windows open. We ate in the "brasserie" well run by Sai and staff. Limited menu but tasty and well presented. A joy to sit on the terrace after dinner and discuss cricket!
We very much hope we will visit again.
Overnight stay in a spa room
Lovely hotel, very pretty with gorgeous grounds. The spa is just lovely, very clean and our bedroom was within the spa building and it was luxurious. The lady who gave me my facial was professional and polite and the lady on reception for check out was very courteous too. We were in the brasserie and the food was good but they really need to train their staff to a higher standard. Forgotten bread and having to ask for things let it down but I will certainly stay at this hotel again.
Great Hotel
We were looking for a quiet and romantic night away with spa facilities. This was an excellent place to do so. The room was dated but very large and well equipped. The spa is brand new and has a luxurious feel to it. The main hotel is within this stunning old building and the gardens around the hotel are well looked after and worth a walk around. We had a lovely dinner in the main restaurant where the service and food were to a very high quality and standard. Breakfast the next day was also very good but the service was not as good as the night before. The staff seemed a bit rushed off their feet and therefore the service suffered from it.
All of the staff are friendly and very helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Short 2 day break
