We had a wonderful stay at the Mallory Court Hotel for our 40th Wedding Anniversary, the staff were all very friendly and made our stay extra special. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Every one made us feel welcome. Couldn't really fault the place but the drinks were a little expensive. We will be returning though.

Wonderful experience

Carolyn E, Norfolk, stayed: June 2017

We wanted a relaxing few days and this fit the bill perfectly. My husband has difficulty walking and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us in a perfect room with suitable shower (handles etc.) and accompanied us each evening to the Brasserie (in a separate building) the 'short-cut' way to save his legs. All the staff were well above average:- they were friendly and professional. They also provided special tickets when they found out we were visiting the British Motor Museum. The food in both restaurants was very good and although portions did not appear overly large, they were actually completely satisfying and good quality, well presented. The Spa Building is situated about 1 minute walk from the Main Hotel (outside) and is new, state of the art standard. I believe there are some rooms there also. The treatment rooms looked most ambient, the gym well up to standard equipment. Perhaps the pool for me could have been larger (I like a good swim) but was adequate. Lots of other marvellous facilities to enjoy there as well. In the main building is a lovely 'Library' with lots of sofa's and comfy chairs plus a 'Lounge' area near the main Restaurant for pre-drinks or coffee (no bar as such but a small bar room serves outside tables). Lovely outside sitting area's and gardens to walk around. In a rural location but easy road access to all amenities. One of the few Hotels my husband would go back to and that is a real sixth star!!!

Two Day Break

TH, Leicestershire, stayed: October 2018

The location is good being close to Stratford & North Cotswold -The luxury bedroom was excellent with everything you would want - the spa offers were very good & the indoor pool & outside jacuzzi most enjoyable but expect at peak times would be overcrowded - we dined in the main restaurant first night but were disappointed with the choice & also the servers seemed to be trainees ( has nobody heard of Gin & tonic glasses ? & is always is served with ice !!! ) The Brasserie the following night was excellent - better choice of food & far better ambience & they did know how to serve drinks - the only downside for some in inclement weather would be the walking distance from the bedrooms - but overall excellent & we will definitely return

Mallory Court Hotel & Spa says...

Thank you for taking time to review your experience of Mallory. I appreciate your comments relating to the service in our main restaurant - we will review the level of the service provided, I apologize for any shortfalls. I am surprised to see your comments relating to the choice, considering we offer a 7 course taster menu, seasonal menu and a vegetarian menu, where we have flexibility of combining the courses from most of those.

Thank you for you even handed feedback. I look forward to seeing you at Mallory in the future.

Deputy General Manager

A great stay

GW, Norfolk, stayed: October 2018

The food was very good quality, with ample portions - we ate 3 nights in the Brasserie. The staff were great, we popped in during the afternoon on day 1 and were shown the tables and the one we liked was reserved for us.

The room in Orchard House were classy, comfortable with everything we needed including a fridge with complimentary soft drinks and real milk. There were also complimentary nibbles (nuts and dried fruits) and fresh fruit.

The SPA, treatments and pools were all good quality and we even sat outside on the recliners in mid October - it was 25 deg!

On the downside the aircon in the bedroom was broken for the first two days so the rooms were rather hot, day 3 it was fine as it had been fixed. There were a few little niggles e.g. a defective light bulb in the bedroom which started flashing after a few minutes but nothing however worth getting upset about. The bulb was fixed was fixed immediately reception were advised of the problem.
