Lovely room, great venue, but must change policy of charging for spa
Arrival and departure at reception was perfect, a smiling and welcoming face to greet us, car taken to the car park whilst we were shown to our room. Our room, in the spa building, was delightful, large bed, comfy chairs to relax in, glass of bubbly on arrival was a nice touch, bathroom with lovely shower and separate bath.
The gym was well equipped and very clean.
The spa is relatively small, with around 11 sunbeds around the indoor pool but has a decent sauna and steam room, but, unless you have a spa treatment, being charged 30 per couple for an hour ( 50 for two hours) is frankly tight and misguided when you've paid 350 ish for DBB. In their defence, it does tell you on their website that this will be the case, but having stayed in lots of Relais and Chateaux hotels over the years and NEVER been charged before, it seems to me to be penny pinching and profiteering. We gave feedback when we checked out and actually they removed the 30 fee, although explaining that it was company policy to charge. As we checked out, another couple were giving the same feedback.
All in all it's a lovely place with excellent staff and a very nice atmosphere and we would return at some point.
Luxury hotel
Luxury hotel with very friendly staff in a great location . Restaurant food top quality but limited choice otherwise could not fault hotel
Lovely hotel and caring staff
What sets this hotel apart is the professionalism of the friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The bedrooms and public rooms are comfortable and the meals are excellent. The surrounding gardens are lovely and well cared for. Several NT properties nearby.
This is a perfect hotel for a short break if you want to be spoiled for a day or so.

Mallery Court Hotel & Spa
Booked as a weekend break for my wife's birthday. Could not fault the helpfulness of the staff and the quality and facilities of the spa which was exceptional. The brasserie was very good but the hotel fine dining was not to our taste with a limited choice for the main course. Would we stay again - yes.

Everything about the hotel and especially the staff was excellent. We ate dinner in the Brasserie which was very good however the breakfast was very disappointing. The service was poor and the choice of food was poor considering the class of hotel eg. no cold meats, no cheeses and only pre sliced bread.
