60thBirthday surprise

Went to meet friends who didn t know we were coming as it was his 60th birthday surprise,the staff were very helpful and friendly.Room ok but no outlook,very clean and comfortable bed.,breakfast very good but not enough choices for evening meal.Enjoyed the 3night stay and would visit again but not this year.I must say it was very well organised against the coral virus and we felt safe

Relaxing Break

Beautiful hotel nestled in glorious rolling countryside. Large light well appointed rooms with large comfortable beds. Bathrooms are equally spacious and there is a copious supply of hot water and a great shower.
The cooked breakfast was excellent; tasty and non greasy.
Staff were all very helpful and mindful of the cleaning etc required during the current pandemic.
Evening meal choices were a little limited but the food was good.
The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and there are wonderful walks through rolling hills and woodlands straight out of the hotel.

Had a very enjoyable stay

Shabby

The room we had was very poor. We had stains on the carpet and chairs, broken tiles in the bathroom, electric curtains not working. And my husband having to climb up to open the window. Where he bruised his thigh. No hot water on the second day and the food was dry and we asked for some gravy or jus but we were told there wasn t any. So we decided to cancel the next two night dinner and went to the local pub.
