Special place

Really enjoyed our stay at Bowden hall. The room was lovely and the hotel was warm and comfortable
The staff were very helpful pleasant and friendly. We would have liked to stay longer and hope to go back there again

A really lovely break

We had 3 nights here & enjoyed every minute. The staff are friendly & helpful, nothing too much trouble.. The food was absolutely amazing. A great location for visiting the Cotswolds in such a beautiful setting. We would definitely return again if visiting this area.

Professional service with friendly staff

Stayed here for a deserved break after trying times. The reception service was excellent, even welcomed our dog. The room, although a good way from the main areas of the hotel was comfortable with easy access to the garden for the dog. Food was good but three main meals were unavailable on the day we booked for dinner. Also marmalade was unavailable for two days, essential for toast!
Overall a good break in a lovely converted country house.

Short Stay

Attentive and helpful staff to be complimented for their willingness to help. However , rooms in need of some attention and particularly in the bathrooms where basins were lacking mixer taps and those fitted were so short as practically impossible to wash and rinse your hands. Also, in room 233 basin soap dispenser empty, one mirror light not working and window frame dirty.

This hotel has very good staff. This makes uo for the rooms, whilst clean and comfortable, were a little basic.
