Enjoyable short break
We booked a 3nt stay including breakfast, dinner on first night, champagne on arrival and an afternoon tea. The hotel is in a lovely peaceful location. We had a classic room which was a decent size and had a nice bathroom. It was always very hot and could have benefitted from air conditioning and an extractor fan in the bathroom and maybe a small fridge. The room and hotel were all very clean and the grounds well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea was all very nice and there was a good selection of drinks at typical hotel prices.
All in all we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it.
Excellent value for money
Really enjoyed our two nights away but didn't read the small print about the hotel- "dog-friendly". I have never seen so many dogs! They were well behaved but the thought of dogs in bedrooms is not my choice. Luckily we were on the top floor so I sincerely hope dog owners use downstair bedrooms.
The food in the restaurant was very good.

Bowden Hall stayed
Highly recommend Bowden Hall it is excellent value for money. The staff on arrival were very helpful friendly and welcoming making sure everything we needed during our stay was sorted. The food is excellent everything is well organised couldn t fault the room or the view. The afternoon tea was excellent and they even checked we had no allergies which they catered for. The surroundings were lovely. The only thing we didn t try was the pods. Highly recommend.
Comfortable relaxing Stay
Had a three night stay which we enjoyed very much. The room was very good and so was the food.
Relaxing weekend
We booked this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and opted for the special package, which was very good value for money. We liked the extra touches - chocolates to go with the champagne and rose petals on the bed.
The room was overlooking the front of the hotel, so lovely views across the gardens and beyond. It was a good size, very clean but we felt it lacked character - another armchair and some tasteful furniture would have really lifted it.
The bar area was welcoming and we had pre-dinner drinks before going into the large restaurant room, again maybe too large for the few bookings at dinner, so the atmosphere was a little hushed. The food was excellent, well prepared and presented and again good value for money. There were more people for breakfast, which was very good.
We enjoyed our stay , very relaxing and would certainly recommend.
A cheeky one night get away
All in all a nice hotel. Helpful staff and priced reasonably for a dinner bed and breakfast. Some nice bits of artwork and decor was good.
