Relaxing stay at The Swan, Bibury
An excellent and relaxing stay with helpful and friendly staff. No real concerns with Covid restrictions (only complaint was that some guests did not use masks at reception). Excellent service in the restaurant and bars with very good food although an understandably limited menu over our stay. Nice private gardens. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend

The Swan at Bibury - October 2021
A lovely stay in a very special place for my wife & I (we spent our honeymoon at Bibury Court now closed to the public unfortunately more than 30 years ago).
Very welcoming reception and other staff working within some constraints (no room servicing) due to staff shortages.
Would be good to have a working lift; also a shame currently that the hotel can only sustain 5 day/night opening (Thurs - Mon); we would have been interested in staying longer if this had been practicable.
Particularly liked the way tables in the restaurant were so well spread out and the staggered timings for breakfast bookings to maximise customer safety in these times.
An excellent stay.
We stayed for three nights in Room 8 which was an Excellent Room on their website. It was very comfortable except for the mattress which seemed to dip! However, this didn t affect our sleep. The bathroom was huge and both rooms were tastefully decorated. There was a coffee making machine as well as a kettle and they provided soya milk for me in a cool flask.
We ate breakfast and dinner in their restaurant. There was an excellent choice of food and the service was first class.
All the staff were very pleasant yet professional. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel, great location and excellent staff
We stayed for a couple of night last week. A great hotel in a prime location in a charming Cotswold village. Our room was at the front of the hotel, so nice views of the river with occasional early morning noise from passing vehicles, although nothing intrusive. Large room and bathroom both in excellent order. Tea and coffee making facilities very welcome, including de-caff. Fresh milk or cream brought to our room.
Very good and generous breakfasts. Simply excellent staff buzzing around and both friendly and attentive. Similar for evening meal.
We went out of season, so no problems with crowds or parking.
Recommended!
Great hotel and staff
We stayed for 4 nights in February and received a free room upgrade which was a nice surprise. The staff were wonderful and always helpful. The hotel is lovely and is in a great location.
