Stay 8-12 April 20125

Terry, Gloucestershire, stayed: April 2025

We enjoyed our stay at the Swan very much indeed. Especially noteworthy was the friendly and helpful attitude of all the staff which made such a big difference. Car parking could have been a problem (especially given my partner's mobility difficulties) and I much appreciated the reception arranging a reserved parking plot close to the hotel. I apologise that I left behind a jacket and one or two other bits in the wardrobe but reception promptly drew it to my attention and kindly offered to send the stuff to my home. As of today however I have not received it.
One issue I might mention is the trip hazard that we felt exists on the first floor, just beyond the short set of stairs leading to room 16, where the staircase from the upper floor comes down: the bottom two steps which jut out into the passageway are carpeted with the same all-round dense pattern and the absence of any warning strip could easily cause someone to trip.

Beautiful location

Liz W, Buckinghamshire, stayed: March 2025

The hotel was very good. The only reason I haven't given it an Excellent rating is that the parking situation is very difficult due to Bibury being so popular with tourists.
Initially the receptionist wasn't terrribly helpful, but the manager was really good and found us a parking space elsewhere.
Apart from the parking difficulties, we had an stay at the hotel

Great Cotswold location

We enjoyed a one night stay at the Swan.

The hotel was very busy when we arrived due to all the visitors that Bibury gets, but the staff coped well and we re very helpful and friendly considering the were rushed of their feet. It was like most hospitality places they needed more staff.

Wonderful short break

Beautiful hotel, excellent food, kind helpful staff.only downside was lack of parking and it was a bit isolated. But for a gourmet experience it was fantastic.
