Lovely hotel, shame about the breakfast

MK, Surrey, stayed: November 2022

Terrible breakfast, poached egg like a bullet, scrambled eggs like sawdust, bacon so crisp it could be pork crackling and service so slow, thank goodness we had time to wait.
No offer of croissants or pastries, just cold toast.
For such a lovely place you really need to revise your breakfast menu, who wants "bowls",
Not many I'm sure.
My husband thought the porridge was horrible, what's the problem with ordinary muesli?

Lovely two days

CH, West Midlands, stayed: November 2022

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Swan. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom well appointed.
The restaurant staff were attentive without being intrusive and the food delicious. Good choice of breakfast dishes.

Short Cotswold break

AG, Surrey, stayed: November 2022

The opportunity arose to have a short break and we chose the Cotswolds. There was a special offer for the Swan Hotel, Bibury. We booked as we had not been to Bibury before.

From the start the staff were very friendly and welcoming, this goes for all the staff we encountered from the cleaning ladies to the restaurant, bar and reception team.

We enjoyed our short stay very much.

Cute Country Hotel

AH, Leicestershire, stayed: January 2023

The setting by the river is very pretty. The hotel is very comfortable and the log fires were most welcome on the very cold days we stayed. The restaurant is clean and tastefully furnished. All the staff were very proficient and helpful. We would be pleased to return here.
