Thank you for an excellent experience

We received a very friendly welcome from each member of staff we encountered, starting with help to find a parking space.
Molly, general manager on duty as we arrived, noted my use of a cane and sought permission to alter the location of our room to ensure we wouldn't need to climb any stairs, much appreciated as we find them difficult.
All of the staff were friendly and seemed happy to be doing their jobs, which they had obviously been well trained to do.
The food was good and there was a nice selection of wine & draft beer.
We will definitely visit again when returning to the Cotswolds.

Our opinions.

My wife and I visited for a couple of days when the dining room was still at the opposite end to now. (Some years ago!!) I visited also in the early 1970's. The new layout is spacious. All the visible staff were very helpful ,however, maybe things were not so organised in those unseen in the Kitchen. Our first breakfast appeared somewhat disorientated, we were deluged with toast but the orders took a long time and I had finished mine by the time my wife's appeared.. At dinner both days the meat came virtually raw and had to be sent back. These comments would not stop us returning however, hopefully, some day. The Cotswolds are wonderful.

We were warmly welcomed thsts including our dog . Room was very nice , comfortable bed , huge bath ,very clean and tidy .

Comfortable, friendly and welcoming.

We were welcomed in a very friendly and professional manner which continued throughout our stay.
Room facilities were good and the added extras very enjoyable.
Our bed was comfortable and the beverages tray could have had biscuits instead of chocolates,( just a personal view).
We very much enjoyed the restaurant food, the standard was excellent.
