Short Stay

Although we only stayed for one night we departed the next day feeling totally relaxed. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were courteous and helpful. We stayed in Berwick Cottage which was well-equipped and very cosy. Would definitely stay again.

Dog friendly hotel

As this was the first time we had took our dog away into a hotel we were unsure what to expect
Upon arrival and entering into our room their was a dog bed in the bedroom and a water bowl in the bathroom accompanied with a letter explaining the rules in regards to the do s and dont s with your pet.
We were surprised their was a beige carpet on the floor as we were expecting tiles / or wooden flooring
We went to reception to ask if there was a dedicated area in the hotel to clean our dog up ie hose pipe / sink area as we were planning to go walking and at this time of year obviously outside was wet and muddy but the receptionist said no there wasn t any facilities to clean your dog
Fortunately we had taken a washing up bowl and towels from home in order for us to clean our pet

Overall we did not feel the facilities on offer were dog friendly as we wanted to respect the room and keep it as clean as possible as the literature stated any damage to the room we would be charged for
The staff were very friendly to our dog offering a cooked sausage each morning which she really enjoyed

LOVELY HOTEL STAFF VERY HELPFUL RESTAURANT FOOD WAS GREAT.
ONLY DOWNSIDE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL FOR THE PRICE.

Great stay

We had a lovely 2 night stay. There were fewer staff than when we visited in summer, but the staff that remained worked very hard, and were extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Our room was clean, large and well furnished. Note that the room was not serviced during the stay, although you could pick up fresh towels etc if you wanted them at a the reception desk. As we were only staying there for two nights this did not bother us, although it might have done so if we had stayed longer. It was fairly quiet given that we stayed between Christmas and New Year. We would definitely stay again, we got a good rate and it was value got money

Lovely hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Swan in Bibury.
We had a good value deal with Off peak luxury.
Our room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished .
The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant food and staff were excellent.
We hope to return in the future.

A great break

Your formula of two nights B and B plus 1 dinner (plus champagne and chocs) suits us well and we look forward to similar breaks in the future.
