Poor Customer Service

ER, North Somerset, stayed: December 2024

I have stayed with my family at The Moonraker just before Christmas for several years. Standards have slipped in most areas, which is a real shame. My wife left an item at the hotel when we left; I called the hotel within two hours and they promised to check and call me back, but no one did. I called several times and spoke to two different people, who also promised to call back, but didn t. I tried calling several times over the course of 3 days, but no one answered the phone. I emailed the Managing Director, but received no reply, which sums up the attitude they have to customer service.

Lovely staff, clean room

Anon, stayed: February 2025

The room was clean and a reasonable size.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
The hotel itself felt very much like a wedding venue.
We had a reduced menu for dinner as the chef was off. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. Breakfast was much the same.

Good value but not luxury

Anon, stayed: February 2025

Helpful reception staff who went to a lot of trouble to ensure I had a quiet room. Some parts of the hotel looked a bit shabby. Didn't like the fact that there were no members of staff at the premises overnight. An emergency number was given.

A short break to treat ourselves after a difficult time

Wayne O, Worcestershire, stayed: January 2025

We enjoyed our time at the Moonraker .
The restaurant/sitting area is a little quirky but still works . Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was tidy and a decent size . A good location and good for our dog . Food was very good . Overall would definitely recommend staying there .

Pleasant hotel nice location good restaurant

HG, Berkshire, stayed: January 2025

We spent one night here. The staff were very welcoming, the location and grounds were very pleasant although the weather was inclement so we couldn't explore. The reception room was warm and cosy. The restaurant was ambient and the meal was excellent. Breakfast too was good.
Our only complaint was that the room was cold. Radiators were fully turned up but the room was cold all night.

I may stay here a gain but would opt for an inside room.

Good location. Pleasant, spacious rooms but not luxurious standard.

Helene, Dorset, stayed: December 2024

Great location for Bath and Bradford upon Avon without the prices. Quiet, easy to find. Pleasant, specious rooms but not luxurious (e.g. soap in a dispenser, 1 towel each, drafty door) Friendly, helpful staff.
