Excellent short break

JD, Northamptonshire, stayed: August 2024

Booked at short notice for a couple of nights, excellent location for visiting Wiltshire. Building itself very attractive but room was rather tired. Food was very good quality and well priced and the service was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely little getaway

TM, Essex, stayed: August 2024

Lovely place . Staff polite and helpful. A short drive to Bradford on Avon which also had a cute train station which we used to get us into Bath ( only 20 mins ) . We booked a superior room here but the room was looked a bit tired and bathroom needed work so wouldn t have put it under the superior rating ! Other than that it was a nice place to stay with a cosy edge

Birthday break

Ellie M, Oxfordshire, stayed: August 2024

Booked this hotel for a birthday getaway. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and had all the amenities necessary.
The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with bath and Bradford on abon easy to access. We caught the train from Trowbridge , it took us about 15 minutes to walk to the station.
Overall lovely stay
Thank you

Good location. Pleasant, spacious rooms but not luxurious standard.

Helene, Dorset, stayed: December 2024

Great location for Bath and Bradford upon Avon without the prices. Quiet, easy to find. Pleasant, specious rooms but not luxurious (e.g. soap in a dispenser, 1 towel each, drafty door) Friendly, helpful staff.

Poor Customer Service

ER, North Somerset, stayed: December 2024

I have stayed with my family at The Moonraker just before Christmas for several years. Standards have slipped in most areas, which is a real shame. My wife left an item at the hotel when we left; I called the hotel within two hours and they promised to check and call me back, but no one did. I called several times and spoke to two different people, who also promised to call back, but didn t. I tried calling several times over the course of 3 days, but no one answered the phone. I emailed the Managing Director, but received no reply, which sums up the attitude they have to customer service.

A short break to treat ourselves after a difficult time

Wayne O, Worcestershire, stayed: January 2025

We enjoyed our time at the Moonraker .
The restaurant/sitting area is a little quirky but still works . Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was tidy and a decent size . A good location and good for our dog . Food was very good . Overall would definitely recommend staying there .

Pleasant hotel nice location good restaurant

HG, Berkshire, stayed: January 2025

We spent one night here. The staff were very welcoming, the location and grounds were very pleasant although the weather was inclement so we couldn't explore. The reception room was warm and cosy. The restaurant was ambient and the meal was excellent. Breakfast too was good.
Our only complaint was that the room was cold. Radiators were fully turned up but the room was cold all night.

I may stay here a gain but would opt for an inside room.
