Broadway Tower
Broadway Tower was built in 1799 by the sixth earl of Coventry, George William, as a present to his wife. Standing at 312m (1024ft), this Gothic folly was used as a country retreat by William Morris and there is a room dedicated to his most famous works and designs.
The famous architect James Wyatt, who was made the surveyor of Westminster Abbey in 1776, is responsible for the design and from the top views of the Vale of Evesham, Gloucester and the Severn Valley can be enjoyed. On a clear day there is also the possibility of seeing thirteen counties.
Broadway Tower Country Park
Broadway Tower is situated in 35 acres of land comprising the Broadway Tower Country Park. A number of country walks can be enjoyed as well as a Red deer enclosure.
